About Us

Comprehensive Safety Management, LLC is located in Cortland Ohio, serving the Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia regions in matters related to Safety in General Industry and Construction.

CSM is a Limited Liability Company founded by Larry Crites to provide Safety and Health consulting services to businesses of all sizes.  He is a graduate of WVU with a Masters Degree in Safety Studies and undergraduate degree in Business Management from Glenville State.            

 He has over 35 years of management and supervision experience both as a first line supervisor and manager and has managed the Safety Function for companies such as Kaiser Aluminum, Anchor Glass, Indalex, Signature Aluminum and the Werner Company.  He has also provided training and consulting services as an independent contractor for construction and general industry clients.  He has the experience in dealing with Government Agencies, establishing Joint Safety Committees, training and developing Supervisor Accountability Programs, developing written safety programs, JSPs, and has been successful in reducing injury and illness rates in heavy industrial settings.  Reducing injury and illness experience has helped companies and clients reduce their overall workers compensation expenditures.
